Connect with your peers year-round by joining one of our new Special Interest Groups (SIGs). These members-only communities are created to foster connections and share knowledge online and in-person at Society meetings.

SIGs are a way for you to expand your professional networks, identify potential collaborators, and explore innovations in research and care.
SIGs are member-led communities that facilitate online interactions and in-person networking opportunities at Society meetings (ENDO and CEU). SIGs may be topic focused, based on career level, or other topics of interest to members.
SIGs have formal Steering Groups comprised of 3 or more members. These members are responsible for ensuring the online community is active by encouraging online post discussions, scheduling quarterly webinars or live-chats, and planning in-person networking opportunities at ENDO and/or CEU. Steering Groups achieve these goals by creating annual workplans. SIG steering groups are tasked with engaging the SIG membership in creating these workplans to ensure that their activities are of interest to the community.
For 2020, the SIG steering Groups have already been identified and are as follows:
The inaugural four SIGs were recommended to the Board of Directors by the Communities of Practice Workgroup after conducting a year-long process of exploring online communities and topic areas that would resonate with our membership.
Visit this page for more information on the application and resources for SIGs.
Members can participate with SIGs in a variety of ways, including attending upcoming educational webinars in our Center for Learning and attending networking events at ENDO. Beginning in mid-February 2022, members will be able to engage with SIG communities on the Endocrine Society DocMatter Community. You must be a current Endocrine Society member to access a SIG. To check the status of your membership or to join/renew, please contact info@endocrine.org.
