Description: Treating obesity is not just about managing weight. Obesity impacts multiple organ systems, and effective management of obesity as a chronic disease requires treating comorbid conditions. This symposium takes a unique approach to education. Following 3 short didactic presentations to set the stage, learners will evaluate interesting cases, presented on video from experts in other specialties. The audience will then have an opportunity to assess treatment approaches for each case based on evidence from expert presentations and faculty discussions. Learners will have the opportunity to submit questions throughout the program for faculty discussion.
