Join Endocrine Society in advocating for for diabetes prevention, diabetes research, and insulin affordability. You can make a major impact with only a minute of your time by supporting our advocacy efforts. Social media communication has also been proven to amplify advocacy messages. If you are not already on X (formerly Twitter), follow these easy steps to set up an account.

All of our messages are formatted for X, but you are also encouraged to share them on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and LinkedIn.

1. Copy our suggested messages and tag your representatives using their social media handles to take action. Make an impact by including images (see links to images on right) to enhance your posts.
2. Hyperlink any references to @YourRepresentative and @YourSenator. Find their official X (Twitter) handles.
3. Retweet the @TheEndoSociety posts and tag your representatives using their social media handles to broaden our reach.
4. Add context by sharing how your patients need support. Mention @TheEndoSociety for other participants to be notified about resharing your messages.
5. Share our Diabetes Facts and Figures images with your representatives and tag us in your posts.
